When trying for a baby, many thoughts and items go into the process. The team at Church & Dwight saw an opportunity to combine multiple products from across their brand portfolio to help consumers group solve a specific need: conceiving a child. journeybox is here to help women try to conceive with its 3 step kit and booklet full of helpful tips and tricks to start a new chapter in their life.
The Challenge
Create a complete brand including a brand name, domain name, logo, and visual identity for their new company.
The Solution
Visuals that helps one feel comfortable with the topic of conceiving, giving them as much knowledge they need for the process, and minimal packaging that contains everything they need to get started to conceive.
Birth of the box characters
The branding comes from the idea of something somewhat minimal yet comforting. Trying to conceive is a trying time in a woman’s life and we want to make her feel comforted, helped, and minimize the stress as much as possible.
The brand is called journeybox. You buy the box. The items are shipped in a box. You open the box to learn and attempt to conceive. Thus, the box people are born. No pun intended!
Simple yet clean packaging
The packaging comes with the idea of being discreet. Some consumers may be sensitive about judgement for what they receive in the mail, so outside of the box is minimal so whoever looks at it will wonder, “What’s this box about?” When in reality box would need to be opened to find out the contents of this journey.

The online journey
The website is the home where consumers can go and purchase a box containing a collective of products in the form of a ‘journeybox.’ It takes the consumer through a simple straightforward process so the box can go from manufacturer to consumer with the ease of the sign up button.

What gave journeybox life?
Some of the following assets are some favorites I illustrated in Adobe Illustrator that live within the booklet, packaging, or on the website. All the elements come together giving the person about to start their journey a sense of ease, comfort, and knowledge in the scenarios they may come against with.
